What is Airbrush Makeup?
If you’ve never heard of airbrush makeup, it uses compressed air to deliver makeup with a soft-focus, even finish, unlike any other makeup. It is so effective at creating the appearance of perfect skin, that it is the only choice for anyone on HD film or TV.
What is the Difference Between Regular and Airbrush Makeup?
Airbrushing is the preferred method for bridal makeup simply for the fact that it gives GREAT coverage and is LONG lasting. If a bride has problem skin such as dark circles, acne scars, blemishes, birthmarks, or hyper-pigmentation (dark spots), a traditional makeup application might leave her looking overly made up, unrecognizable and ultimately unhappy because of the amount of makeup it would take to conceal these types of imperfections.
Using traditional foundation runs the risk of makeup fading away or completely coming off at any moment during your special day. Which is why here at “ALL DOLLED UP” all of our brides receive HD Airbrushed Complexion! Eliminating any types of fears a bride with problem skin might have giving her peace of mind knowing her makeup will look flawless and not budge all day and night! Leaving her to rest easy and handle more important things!
What Airbrush Makeup do You Use?
We use Temptu, Dinair, Kryolan, Tickled Pink and Ben Nye airbrush products. This not only includes foundation application but also blush, eyeshadow, brows, bronzer and highlight & contour. All brands are made of different formulations from water-based, silicone, alcohol based and a hybrid mix. Depending upon what area of the body is being treated, skin type and look desired will determine what formula will perform best for each individuals needs.
How Does Airbrush Makeup Work?
Airbrushing allows for such intricate detail in airbrush art. Unlike larger paint sprayers airbrushing makeup uses less compressed air to apply product to your face and body, this in addition to using spray tips that are impossibly small means that the mist of spray is finer creating intricate detail to your eyes and face.
Hide Imperfections Including Vitiligo?
If you’re a bride or someone getting ready to do a photoshoot, you might want to hide tattoos or embarrassing skin defects that interfere with your pictures or dress design. Airbrushing over tattoos is a great way to hide them without drawing unwanted attention to that area of your body or being seen in photographs. Airbrush body makeup is waterproof, rub proof and transfer-resistant. Airbrush body makeup can last an entire week.
Flawless, Even Coverage
It’s been tried and true: There is simply no makeup lighter than airbrush. It leaves your complexion looking absolutely flawless and natural. Your makeup will definitely not look heavy or uneven. Who wants to look fake when you can look flawless?
Waterproof Makeup?
Whether you’re preparing for an emotional day, or just a warm, summery event, waterproof makeup has its advantages. It will hold up despite tears or sweat. Southern ladies and gents can rejoice in knowing their makeup will feel comfortable and last all day in the humidity, especially beach brides!
Minimal Glamour
If you like your makeup to look minimal and simple, but still want to be done up, airbrushing is a great option. With this technique, your natural beauty shines through, and it isn’t covered up with layers and layers of traditional beauty products. Perfect if you are not used to wearing makeup.
Photo Friendly Makeup
If you know you’re going to be photographed, airbrush makeup is one way to ensure that you’ll look picture-perfect. Airbrushing guarantees that the high-definition camera lenses won’t pick up on any of your imperfections and blemishes.
Less is More
Airbrush makeup is proven to use LESS makeup, yet leaves you looking MORE perfected. Plus it zaps away any zits and imperfections. Airbrush makeup artists call it the “magic eraser”.
The Cons of Airbrush Makeup
Nothing, everyone can benefit from the beautiful flawless non-filtered results that only airbrush makeup offers. Even the most sensitive of skins.
